Contemporary décor expected in Belgravia with polished floors, pink chiselled Agra sandstone, Kerala rosewood furniture and subtle tangerine lighting. Known for its open kitchen deploying tandoor, tawa and sigri Indian grilling techniques to produce small sharing dishes, that are brought to the table as they ready. Welcoming staff contribute to the lively environment. Menus change frequently, but starters may include a crispy cabbage and noodle salad with nuts, pomegranate and grapes with a dash of balsamic vinegar.
Also recommended are the fleshy jumbo ocean prawns, seasoned with ginger and tomato; seared scallops with fresh coriander and coconut sauce; grilled oysters served coconut milk flavoured with ginger, turmeric and chilli.
Desserts given a sharp Indian twist – Chocolate Slice, layered with hazelnut chikki, dark & milk chocolate.
The smart bar serves contemporary cocktails mixed with fresh seasonal ingredients and an extensive list of New and Old Word wines with over 20 served by the glass.
