Diwali at Sopwell House

Celebrations for Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, is returning to the Sopwell House in Hertfordshire, for a fourth year, on Friday 6th November. Back with a twist, this year’s festivities will see the luxury Hertfordshire country house transform into an immersive food, drink and dancing celebration, complete with street food style dining, live entertainment and fireworks.

Starting from 7pm, guests will receive a welcome drink before making their way through to the beautifully transformed St Alban Suite and The Mountbatten event space. Inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of India’s bustling food markets, guests can expect a wide range of street food stands and carts, serving an array of delicious dishes throughout the night.

Guests can feast and party the night away with loved ones on the hotel’s large dancefloor, with a DJ set and a series of live performances taking place throughout the evening plus a dazzling firework display, with music and dancing continuing until midnight.
