Sri Lankan ISSO opens in London

Sri Lankan hospitality “powerhouse” ISSO is claiming to have “made history by officially establishing its first international corporate beachhead in the United Kingdom, launching its flagship venue” at 25 Cabot Square, Canary Wharf.

Operating as “ISSO – Prawn Crazy” the 90-seat, premium casual restaurant also claims “a significant shift as the first authentic, Colombo-born brand to directly scale into a Western market, challenging the traditional diaspora-led model.”

ISSO aims is focusing on high-grade, wild-caught prawns, through direct partnerships with over 150 artisanal fishermen in Jaffna and Mannar, using advanced, quick-frozen technology and bypassing European wholesalers.
