The team behind the Gunpowder and Empire Empire restaurants, has opened a new Indo-Chinese restaurant in India.
The Harneet Baweja led HB Company, has opened Master Jackie in Kolkata.
The new cocept, inspired by Jackie Chan and Chinese cuisine, attempts to bring a “Calcutta club meets Indo-Chinese aesthetic”.
Gunpowder currently operates three sites in London and one in Lisbon, Portugal.
HB Company also operates Thai fried chicken restaurant Fortune Fried Chicken in London’s Old Spitalfields Market, Empire Empire in Notting Hill, and contemporary bakery and café concept Moi et To in Notting Hill and Tower Bridge.
