Michelin Star for Ambassadors Clubhouse

Ambassadors Clubhouse, in Heddon Street off London’s Regent Street, has been awarded one star by the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland.

A statement from JKS Restauramnts which owns the group said: “This recognition reflects the dedication and talent of our team and marks a historic moment as we become the first Punjabi restaurant in the UK to receive a Michelin star.

“The honour is also deeply personal: 10th February would have been the birthday of the Sethi family’s grandfather, Raj Krishna Tandon, the former Indian Ambassador and the restaurant’s namesake.”

“The landmark moment arrives in the same week that JKS prepare to open the doors of our first international home in New York, launching on 11th February at 1245 Broadway.

“We are grateful to our guests for their continued support and for sharing in this journey with us. Built on Punjabi hospitality and generosity, we look forward to welcoming you back to Mayfair, and soon to Manhattan, to celebrate together.”

Ambassadors Club House’s north Indian culinary roots are in roadside stalls, family homes and the royal palaces of Punjab.

Other London Michelin-starred restaurants owned by JKS are Gymkhana (Two Stars – Mayfair), Kitchen Table (Two Stars – Fitzrovia), Trishna (One Star – Marylebone)
Sabor (One Star – Mayfair), and Somssi by Jihun Kim. JKS established in 2008, is owned and founded by siblings Jyotin, Karam, and Sunaina Sethi .
