Good Curry Guide

Welcome to the Good Curry Guide, republished after a 12-year absence and now online for the first time.

The original Guide was founded and edited by my dear friend the late Pat Chapman, between 1984 and 2013. This is a tribute to him, honouring his memory and reminding those who work in the sector – or enjoy a decent ‘Ruby’ – that we are forever in his debt.

The Guide is still very much a work in progress, with additions being made on an almost daily basis.
It will feature the very best restaurants in this sector with reviews, chef profiles, articles, interviews, recipes, competitions, offers and news.
The Guide will grow, beginning with the elite venues in London, with the aim of adding a new region of the country each month.
Your recommendations are most welcome.

Yours,
George Shaw
